Three sailing clubs can be found on the lake, La Velica, the Cus and the Circolo Nautico Caldonazzo. Throughout the summer season they organize regattas and courses for beginners.
As with windsurfing, sailing takes advantage of the thermal south westerly winds which usually rise around 3pm and guarantee  enjoyable sailing conditions. The Levegana usually reaches us when thunderstorms build in the distance, it doesn't last long, but makes for great sailing with its strong gusting winds.
The Tramontana, also known as the St. Cristofer blows from the North and causes waves and strong gusts.
